ACMA Automechanika set to kicked off from February 1, 2024 in New Delhi

Set to return in 2024, ACMA Automechanika New Delhi will kick off on 1 February 2024 bringing the latest aftermarket advancements in the auto components industry. The three-day event will witness the who’s who of the automotive industry converging at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi to take advantage of endless business opportunities presented, make connections and build new relationships.

Mr Vinnie Mehta, Director General, ACMA said: “Growing demand for long-distance travel and crossover vehicles further raises the need for regular maintenance and vehicle parts replacements. India’s automotive market has a strong growth potential, resulting in increased demand for automotive parts. The country has also witnessed the rise of new entrants in the mobility space. India had a trade surplus of 700 Mn USD for auto components demonstrating a strong demand for exports. The mega event will serve as a hub for networking and collaboration, both locally and globally, as well as a platform for discussing key issues and trends in the industry.”

The vibrant automotive sector and rising vehicle ownership in rural markets of new and used vehicles are driving demand for aftermarket auto components in India. The auto-components industry has grown 23% y-o-y on the back of strong exports performance & replacement market growth. The steady progress in India’s automotive industry has caught the attention and focus of the world’s leading manufacturers of vehicles and components over the last decade. India is the third largest car manufacturer globally and an emerging global hub for automotive component sourcing and manufacturing.
