New Delhi: Chartered Speed, one of India’s leading bus passenger mobility companies operating across B2G, B2B, and B2C sectors, has been awarded a contract by Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL) to operate more than 900 electric buses. Under the Pradhan Mantri e-Bus Sewa Scheme, these e-buses will enhance urban mobility across 13 cities in three states, serving over 2.9 lakh passengers daily and generating employment for more than 2,000 individuals.
With this initiative, Chartered Speed is set to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in public transport, reinforcing its commitment to providing efficient and environmentally sustainable transit solutions. The fleet of e-buses will be deployed in Raipur, Durg-Bhilai, Bilaspur, Korba, Ajmer, Alwar, Bikaner, Bhilwara, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Udaipur, and Shillong—spanning Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, and Meghalaya.

Currently, the company operates a vast fleet of over 1,800 buses across Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and Assam, serving more than 3.5 lakh passengers daily with the support of over 4,800 employees.
