The company’s Andhra Pradesh plant was awarded with British Safety Council’s ‘Sword of Honour’, following its achievement of Five Stars in British Safety Council’s health and safety management audit scheme. The qualification period for this is between August 1, 2023 and July 31, 2024. The organisation has also demonstrated to an independent panel of experts that it has achieved excellence in its health and safety management throughout the business — from the shopfloor to the boardroom.
Yoichi Sato, Chief Quality and Safety Officer, Apollo Tyres Ltd said, “The Sword of Honour award is a significant achievement for us, recognising our efforts to make health and safety an integral part of how we operate.
